"If you’re a normal person shopping for a laptop, you should buy a MacBook Air," says The Verge. I don't agree.
That's about as good a review as you can get. And the 13.5 hours of battery life, brought about by the new Haswell processor from Intel, is incredible.
But this is not a touchscreen computer. It does not convert into a tablet. It's a great laptop but not for everyone, not even if we limit potential buyers to those who would call themselves "normal."
Personally, I find the touchscreen a lot of fun for reading and browsing, and I love having a laptop that doubles as a tablet.
The Verge editors need to dampen the fanboy nonsense and see the world from a broader perspective.
